Today, Our client operates in a 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Peabody, MA. Role Description:

Perform first article (FAI), in-process, and final inspections
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
Use precision measuring instruments including CMMs, micrometres, callipers, height gauges, and optical
comparators
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Identify nonconformances and support corrective actions.
Work closely with production, engineering, and management to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Propose, develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures and review with the product quality engineers.
Support the calibration process.
Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Experience with Calibrated equipment (callipers, micrometres, CMM etc.)
Strong understanding of tolerances and measurement techniques.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD)
Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication or machining environment a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as JobBoss2 is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Experience with communicating with suppliers and cross functional teams.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
