Position Overview

This position primarily involves TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel and aluminum components built to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Candidates must be capable of producing high-quality cosmetic welds, particularly on thin-wall stainless steel tubing.

Welding Test Requirement

Applicants must be able to pass an on-site welding test consisting of:

TIG welding a thin-wall stainless steel tube cope joint
TIG welding aluminum sheet metal

If you are not confident in your ability to consistently produce high-quality cosmetic welds on thin-wall stainless steel tubing, please do not apply.

Required Skills & Experience

Passion for welding and metal fabrication
Proficient in TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Experience fabricating and fitting parts to print
Ability to work effectively and communicate with team members to produce quality products
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Comfortable operating general fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, and related shop machinery
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills

General metal fabrication and fit-up experience
Ability and willingness to help train and mentor others
Experience working in a fast-paced custom fabrication or job shop environment

Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday | (4) Ten-Hour Shifts (3) Days Off
6:00am – 4:30pm
Overtime occasionally required to meet project schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
