Shift: 2nd Shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 7:00PM – 7:00AM

Compensation: Up to $37 an hour (DOE)

Position Overview:

We’re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Lafayette, IN with strong experience in electrical systems, industrial automation, and troubleshooting. What You’ll Do:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Diagnose and repair industrial automation equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs (Allen Bradley preferred)
Work with voltages up to 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC
Install and assemble electrical circuits, control panels, and related components
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and process improvements
Maintain accurate maintenance and performance records
Assist operators with safe equipment operation and procedures
Train and support maintenance team members as needed

What We’re Looking For:

3–5 years of experience in electrical/electronic maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship in a related field
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeter, megger, infrared scanner, etc.)
Comfortable working at heights and in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
