Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
Perform installations of HVAC equipment in accordance with design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics issues using tools such as ohmmeters and test meters; identify faults in electrical systems and resolve them efficiently.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and building automation system layouts to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs clearly and ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all work performed; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems and plumbing as needed; support team members in complex projects requiring mechanical systems repair expertise.

Requirements

Master Gas Fitter License and/or Refrigeration License
Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in system repair, installation, and maintenance.
Construction experience or prior work on building projects is highly valued.
Solid understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair.
Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices.
Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, boilers, appliances repair, and property maintenance is preferred.
Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (including driver license if applicable).
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
