Job Description:
Established Massachusetts contractor is seeking a full time MA Electrician and Registered Apprentice for a BESS project in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
Job Duties:
- Electrical wiring.Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards. Knowledge of AC and DC circuits, conduits, and junction boxes, substation work, and preferably experience with BESS projects.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar systems
- Perform splicing and terminating of medium voltage cable
- Installation of medium voltage cable through underground ducts and manhole system
- Installation of conduit and fittings
- Installation of grounding systems
- Installation of conduit support systems
- Prioritize safety at all times, adhering to industry best practices and safety protocols while working at heights and with electrical components. Ensure compliance with all systems.
Qualifications
- MA Licensed Journeyman Electrician or MA Registered Apprentice
- Certified Cable Splicer
- Minimum of five (5) years experience for Journeyman
- OSHA safety training preferred
- Valid Driver’s License Required
Pay: From $76.00 per hour
