Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with electrical wiring, schematics, and troubleshooting high and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC standards. A strong background in construction, renovation, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools is essential. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including new installations and renovations, with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Performing electrical and lighting service calls, new electrical installations, periodic electrical equipment service work.
Work in harmony with Benfield Electric employees as well as all other individuals on the assigned project sites.
Qualifications to include:
3-10 years experience in commercial electrical service work.
Infrared scan certifications a plus.
Working knowledge of the NEC.
Mechanical inclination.
Ability to follow supervised instruction.

-must have active MD Journeyman license

-preferably would live within 45-50 minutes from our office in Timonium

-can pass a background check/drug screen/driving record check

-willing and comfortable doing service work daily and delegating tasks to helper(s)

-tools

-up to date with NEC
