Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure is safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.
- Work safely on construction sites by adhering to all safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage, and general electrical work.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems in industrial settings.
- Conduct maintenance on existing electrical systems in commercial facilities or industrial environments while ensuring compliance with NEC regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification demonstrating comprehensive electrical knowledge and experience.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with safety standards.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations governing electrical installations and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments requiring standing, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and handling heavy equipment.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, renovation projects, and construction site protocols.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
