Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Appliance Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and troubleshooting a wide range of household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and technical expertise. Duties
- Safely deliver appliances using a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Install various appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair appliance issues on-site, utilizing mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and schematics to diagnose problems accurately
- Assemble appliances and related equipment efficiently to ensure proper operation and customer satisfaction
- Conduct routine maintenance and equipment repairs to uphold appliance performance standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about installation procedures, maintenance tips, and troubleshooting steps to enhance their experience
- Document all service activities meticulously in company systems for tracking and quality assurance purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or service technician in a field service environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Hands-on electrical experience related to appliance systems and HVAC units
- Delivery driver experience with a valid driver’s license and familiarity operating a box truck or similar vehicle
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment repair is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining safety standards
- Physical ability to lift heavy appliances, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday
