We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join our team and lead the planning, estimating, and execution of electrical construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from initial cost estimation through project completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage. Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and comprehensive electrical cost estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and identify potential challenges or cost-saving opportunities.
Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships.
Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with project goals and client expectations.
Oversee electrical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
Monitor project progress, control costs, manage change orders, and implement effective cost control strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate schedules, resolve issues promptly, and ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.
Manage contractual obligations by reviewing agreements and ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements.
Utilize your electrical experience to troubleshoot technical challenges on-site and provide guidance on best practices in construction management.

Experience

Proven background in construction estimating with a strong focus on electrical systems; experience with McCormick Production Database Bluebeam or similar estimating tools is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success managing electrical projects from initial estimate through completion within budget and schedule constraints.
Extensive knowledge of NEC standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
Strong negotiation skills for contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships that benefit project outcomes.
Familiarity with cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and contract administration in the construction industry.
Excellent project management capabilities including scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.

Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and overall qualifications.
