Duties

Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using advanced hand tools and power tools.
Conduct auto painting, including airless paint spraying techniques, to achieve flawless finishes that match original colors.
Use MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged body parts effectively.
Install and replace auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics.
Assist with auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or classic vehicles to their original condition through meticulous detailing and assembly.
Evaluate vehicle damage accurately using auto estimating tools; communicate repair needs clearly to customers and team members.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.

Requirements

Proven dealership experience or similar automotive repair background demonstrating proficiency in auto body work.
Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and automotive repair techniques.
Experience with auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying; familiarity with auto restoration is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of standing, bending, and working on vehicles for extended periods.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly and professionally.
Knowledge of auto estimating software; experience in auto glass installation and auto painting is desirable.
