Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Journeyman Electrician Apprentice to join our dynamic electrical team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
- Support the setup and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to test continuity and resistance of electrical components.
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards during construction site activities.
- Assist with renovation projects by removing old wiring and installing new electrical systems in commercial or industrial environments.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring job site safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an electrician apprenticeship program; previous construction site experience is highly valued.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical theory.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC standards is preferred.
- Experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is a plus; handyman or frame carpentry experience is beneficial.
- Ability to use testing equipment such as ohmmeters confidently for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; able to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
