About Us
We are a growing low voltage contracting company based in Denver with over 15 years of experience specializing in structured cabling, networking, security, audio/video systems, and other low-voltage solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial clients. We are looking for an entry-level technician who is eager to learn the trade, work hard, and grow with our team.
Position Summary
The Entry-Level Low Voltage Technician will assist with the installation, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and devices (typically under 50 volts), including data, voice, CCTV, access control, and related systems. This is a hands-on field position that will primarily work on customer job sites in the Denver metro area. Future travel is also a probability as we have been expanding into New Mexico with plans of expanding into other surrounding states as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull, route, and neatly dress low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber, and control wire) in commercial and residential environments
- Assist with terminating jacks, patch panels, and other endpoints for data, voice, and video systems
- Help install devices such as cameras, access control hardware, wireless access points, and other low-voltage equipment
- Read and follow basic drawings, floor plans, and instructions from lead technicians or project managers
- Label, document, and organize cabling and equipment according to company standards
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of cabling and devices under supervision, using hand tools and test equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Provide professional communication and customer service on job sites as a representative of the company
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior low voltage experience required; 0–2 years in construction, electrical, telecom, or related field is a plus
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, fish tape, etc.)
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces and above ceilings as needed
- Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Denver metro area and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Basic familiarity with networking, cabling, or electronics is a plus but not required
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay for entry level, typically starting in the range of approximately $20–$23 per hour in the Denver market, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs
