We are actively hiring a Commercial Refrigeration Technician / HVAC‑R Service Technician to support our growing commercial service department. This is a service‑focused commercial refrigeration role, ideal for an experienced technician with strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems including walk‑in coolers, walk‑in freezers, reach‑in units, and related equipment
- Perform commercial refrigeration service and maintenance, including emergency repairs
- Recover, evacuate, charge, and handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA 608 regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, controls, defrost systems, and pressure controls
- Complete preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC/R and refrigeration equipment
- Accurately document service calls, repairs, and parts used
- Provide professional customer service on commercial job sites
- Participate in a scheduled on‑call rotation
Required Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial refrigeration service experience
- Experience servicing walk‑in coolers/freezers, commercial refrigeration, or HVAC‑R systems
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in a service technician role
