Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on various projects involving metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. As a MIG Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.
Utilize hand tools and machinery effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
Conduct pipe threading and plasma cutting tasks as needed for specific projects.
Collaborate with team members to build and fabricate components according to project requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
Assist in machining processes when required, contributing to overall production efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Proficiency in using hand tools and welding equipment, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding techniques.
Familiarity with sheet metal work and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues effectively.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 58 per week
