Tacala is currently looking for a qualified and self-motivated HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing team. This is an additional headcount due to the growth of the company.

This position will service areas around Austin, TX.

Our HVAC/R Service Technicians provide year-round preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen and lobby equipment in our restaurants. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with employees, customers and vendors and communicate effectively both verbally and in a written manor.
JOB SKILLS
EXPERIENCE: 3 – 5 years of similar role
EDUCATION: Technical school graduate or degree, or equivalent work experience
SKILLS: Comfort and knowledge of servicing equipment such as – refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers and freezers), restaurant capacity fryers, warmers, and ice machines, and minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC/R
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB (not an all-inclusive list):
- HVAC/R service and repair
- Kitchen cooking equipment and ice machines preventative maintenance and repair
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Use of internal tracking software
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have three (3) years of experience with HVAC/R, restaurant kitchen equipment, and commercial ice machines
- Must have the willingness to travel from location to location – company vehicle provided
- Must be able to pass a background check and MVR for use of company vehicle
- Must be willing to work 40-50 hours a week
