Position: HVAC Smart Building Sales Executive

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 base + commission incentive plan
A top player in smart building solutions seeks to hire an experienced HVAC Smart Building Sales Executive to join their team in the Arlington Heights area. This role will involve building relationships within the construction and engineering community and providing cutting-edge building automation and HVAC control solutions.
Market building automation, HVAC controls, and smart building solutions to:
Cultivate and maintain long-lasting connections with existing and potential clients
Identify new business opportunities within the construction sector
Adapt solutions to align with customer operational, efficiency, and sustainability objectives
Collaborate internally with operations and engineering teams for successful project completion and customer satisfaction
Provide expert guidance throughout the sales process
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in selling commercial HVAC controls or building automation systems
Proven track record of sales within the construction industry
Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) design and/or applications
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and self-motivated sales skills
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years of sales experience within the construction industry
Experience in selling HVAC mechanical equipment and/or complete BAS solutions
