Position: Heat Treat Operator
Summary:
Savvy Staffing is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift Heat Treat Operator to set and monitor temperature controls, inspect parts, load/unload furnaces, and quench parts as needed. This role may also include operating specialized equipment and responding to alarms.
Requirements:
- Experience in metalworking, heat treatment, or metal finishing
- Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets
- Self-starter, team player, and flexible
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and be on feet for most of the shift
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; PLC/CNC experience a plus
Preferred Experience:
- Batch furnaces, temper oven, wash unit, Endo generator, Samsco evaporator, hardness tester
- Basic inspection with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
