Chicago Low Voltage Technician Opportunity
I run a minority and veteran owned Chicago-based company called 606 Systems that helps builders and developers handle low-voltage infrastructure on construction projects.
We install things like:
- job-site internet (5G routers)
- WiFi networks (Ubiquiti systems)
- construction security cameras
- structured cabling (Cat6)
- smart home infrastructure
I’m looking to connect with a reliable Low Voltage Technician / Installer in the Chicago area.
This would start as project-based contractor work with the opportunity to grow as we take on more projects around the city.
Typical work includes:
- installing routers and WiFi access points
- mounting and configuring security cameras
- running and terminating Cat6 cable
- basic network troubleshooting
Low-voltage technicians typically install systems like security cameras, data cabling, and network infrastructure that keep modern buildings connected.
Preferred experience:
- structured cabling / low voltage installs
- security camera installation
- networking equipment (Ubiquiti experience a plus)
Projects will primarily be in Chicago neighborhoods like West Town, Logan Square, Bucktown, and surrounding areas.
If this sounds like you — or you know someone great — send me a message.
