Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, providing effective solutions for repairs.
- Build and design custom ductwork as needed for specific installations or repairs.
- Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity of HVAC systems.
- Plumb water lines and drainage systems associated with HVAC installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Drive company van to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to build, design, weld, maintain, refrigerate, and plumb various HVAC components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
