Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team producing high-quality metal components and assemblies for a variety of industries including aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
In this role, you will work with precision sheet metal parts and be responsible for fabrication processes including forming, welding, grinding, deburring, and hardware insertion. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate precision sheet metal components and assemblies according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punch presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools
- Perform finishing operations including grinding, deburring, and hardware insertion
- Support welding operations (TIG/MIG experience is a plus but not required)
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Follow ISO9001 / AS9100 quality procedures including documentation and inspection requirements
- Maintain an organized and safe workspace while meeting daily production goals
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve fabrication processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of precision sheet metal fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs
- Experience with fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punch presses, or other sheet metal tools
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Welding experience (TIG or MIG) is a plus but not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amada punch presses or press brakes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems
- Background in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
