M&D Foundation Drilling Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified and dependable NCCCO Certified Crane Operator to join our team. This position involves operating a 50-ton crane on heavy civil construction projects, primarily supporting TxDOT highway and bridge work across Texas.
Job Overview
The Crane Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 50-ton crane, assisting with drilled shaft and foundation operations, material handling, and jobsite support. This is a traveling position with projects located throughout Texas.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 50-ton crane in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Work closely with field crews to support drilling and construction operations
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate logs and communicate effectively with supervisors
Requirements
- Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (required)
- Experience operating a 50-ton crane (or similar capacity) in a construction environment
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of load charts and rigging practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to travel weekly and stay out of town as required
