This position monitors and maintains building fire systems. The fire specialist will also ensure the operation of the fire systems, meshing with building operations including but not limited to the automated Access Control, Security Systems, and other pertinent building systems. This position's main purpose is the maintenance of critical fire detection/alarm hardware within the building(s), monitoring the alarm systems, working with fire contractors, fire marshals, documenting performance, and improving the life cycle of equipment. Responds to fire and mechanical equipment alarms, also resolves fire trouble codes.
Help monitor/assist with fire and security computer alarms and emergency situations requiring immediate action. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
