THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re adding a Project Manager to own commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll partner directly with our field superintendents, subcontractor base, and ownership team to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and on standard. This is a hands-on role with real ownership — and a clear path to senior responsibility as CDO continues to scale.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Full-cycle project management on commercial construction projects: scope, schedule, budget, subcontractor coordination, and owner communication from preconstruction through closeout
- Subcontractor buyout, contracting, and day-to-day performance management across all scopes of work
- Monthly owner pay applications, job cost reporting, and proactive margin protection
- RFI and submittal log management — keeping design teams and subs accountable to timelines
- Change order identification, pricing, and execution with a bias toward protecting project margin
- Collaboration with field superintendents on look-ahead scheduling and resource alignment
- Project closeout: punch list, lien waivers, O&M manuals, and owner turnover
- Participation in preconstruction and estimating reviews to flag constructability and scope gaps early
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of project management experience in commercial general contracting
- Proven track record delivering commercial projects in the $2M–$15M range on time and on budget
- Solid understanding of job cost accounting, earned value, and budget management fundamentals
- Experience with Procore or a comparable construction management platform
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
BASE SALARY: $120,000 – $140,000
