We are seeking experienced and motivated welders to join our dynamic manufacturing team on the second shift, working a 4/10 schedule. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on stainless steel components with accuracy and consistency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and fabrication requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise dimensions and quality control.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools to shape and assemble metal parts.
- Conduct rigging, assembly, and installation tasks involving ductwork, sheet metal, or structural components while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean work environment by following proper safety procedures; utilize crane operations and forklift skills when handling heavy materials.
- Follow ASME codes & standards for welding practices; ensure all work complies with industry regulations and project specifications.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of welding experience in manufacturing or construction environments with stainless steel expertise.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; ability to perform specific welding as required.
- Strong blueprint reading skills coupled with mechanical knowledge for fabrication projects.
- Experience with construction site work, pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and basic math skills necessary for precise measurements.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; knowledge of construction safety protocols is preferred.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication processes.
