Concrete Construction Superintendent (Commercial Projects)
Position Summary

McNelly Services is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent to lead commercial concrete projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards while managing field teams and supporting seasonal operations, including winter snow services.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee commercial concrete projects (retail, commercial, and light industrial)
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, company policies, and local building codes
Supervise, schedule, and develop field crews
Review project plans, specifications, and timelines to ensure proper execution
Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to meet project deadlines
Lead all phases of installation: layout, formwork, pouring, finishing, and punch list
Troubleshoot job site issues and ensure proper equipment operation
Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
Manage materials, purchasing, cost tracking, and job budgets
Assist with permits and inspections as required
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Support seasonal snow operations, including: Supervising crews, Route planning, Snow removal and salting, On-call availability during winter weather events (nights, weekends, holidays)
Work extended hours during peak construction and winter seasons
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commercial concrete construction and supervision
Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and job site safety
Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with teams, clients, and vendors
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Commitment to safety, professionalism, teamwork, and integrity
