We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Low Voltage Department Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our low voltage systems division. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of low voltage projects, including systems such as fire alarm, security, data/communication, and audiovisual installations.
Oversee project scheduling using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to ensure timely delivery aligned with client expectations and contractual obligations.
Manage project budgets, estimates, and resource allocation while maintaining cost control and profitability.
Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to develop accurate construction estimates utilizing construction estimating software.
Supervise field teams during construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), blueprints, schematics, and system design specifications.
Review technical drawings and blueprints; interpret schematics to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and local regulations while maintaining meticulous documentation throughout project lifecycle.
Foster a culture of safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the department.
Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation management, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and change orders.
Provide leadership in training and mentoring staff to enhance technical skills related to electrical experience and construction site management.

Skills

Extensive experience with electrical engineering principles and system design for low voltage applications.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam.
Strong understanding of construction estimating processes specific to electrical systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications accurately.
Knowledge of NEC standards and local building codes relevant to low voltage systems installation.
Excellent project scheduling skills combined with effective time management capabilities.
Proven track record in construction management with hands-on construction site experience in electrical projects.
Exceptional communication skills for coordinating between clients, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
