Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager and Business Developer who is part of the following associations: NAIOP, SIOR, and CCIM to lead our efforts in expanding market presence and driving growth within the construction and civil engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and business development strategies, with a focus on fostering client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to secure new projects and expand existing client relationships in the construction industry.
Lead proposal development, bid management, and contract negotiations to ensure profitable project acquisition.
Collaborate with project teams to understand technical requirements, including blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site specifics.
Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and ProCore to support project planning and estimation processes.
Oversee market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong professional networks within the construction sector to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Coordinate with project managers to align business development initiatives with ongoing projects and operational capabilities.
Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.

Skills

Proven expertise in construction estimating, project scheduling, and construction management software including Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, schematics, blueprint reading, and site safety protocols.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project coordination from inception through completion.
Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize multiple initiatives effectively under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership in business development within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
Effective communication skills for engaging clients, negotiating contracts, and leading cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of heavy civil projects including infrastructure development is preferred.
