Job Description
Low Voltage Cable & Technology Installer – LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
Blue Fox Group hires mid-range and senior technical staff who present with a wide range of skills and are excited about learning and pushing their technical expertise to the limits. We provide services across technical disciplines ranging from Tier 3/4 Desktop Support, Windows Servers, Telephony, Networking, Access Control/Security Systems, Paging Systems, and Structured Cabling. Technical candidates should be excited about broadening their skills across a wide range of specialties. If you are a “jack of all trades” in the tech world, we may have the perfect spot for you on our team.
The Installer works on new equipment deployments, as well as with our Support Team, to ensure that services for our Clients are provided in an efficient and profitable manner, with the goal of consistently exceeding Client expectations. At this time, candidates with at least 2 years of experience installing Low Voltage Cabling, AV Systems, Paging Equipment, Security Cameras, Access Control Systems, and networking equipment such as racking and installing wireless access points (APs) are being sought to join the Blue Fox Group team.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have experience with the installation and troubleshooting of some, or all, of the technologies listed above. You will be deploying new systems at Client sites across the state—ranging from running structured cabling, to mounting speakers, cameras, and wireless access points, to providing basic training on the systems you have deployed. You should be open to continually learning new technologies and able to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
The Installer must be self-motivated, driven to exceed Client expectations, and excited about contributing to the overall success of the company. You must be able to work independently in the field. You will be responsible for communicating directly with Clients to resolve technical issues daily, so strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to explain moderately complex information to end users.

- 2–4 years of documented technical service experience, including installation and configuration of AV, paging, security camera, access control, networking equipment (including wireless APs), and structured cabling (CAT5/6, fiber, phone lines, etc.)
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience working with ConnectWise or other PSA software is beneficial
- Highly self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Effective team player
