Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, client-centered, Construction Project Manager. This key position oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of new commercial, multifamily, and single family projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Pre-Construction
- Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and clients during design development.
- Effectively manage budgets, schedules, and construction timelines.
- Review plans and specifications for constructability and cost efficiency.
- Secure permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Monitor job site safety and enforce safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to plans.
- Track project costs and manage change orders.
- Maintain accurate documentation (contracts, RFIs, submittals, invoices, etc.).
Client Communication
- Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners throughout construction.
- Provide regular progress updates and address concerns proactively.
- Manage expectations and ensure a high-end customer experience.
Financial Oversight
- Effectively manage project budgets.
- Review and approve subcontractor bids and invoices.
- Track cost-to-complete and maintain profitability targets.
Team Leadership
- Supervise site supervisors, field staff, and subcontractors.
- Foster strong, positive, and relationships with trade partners.
- Promote a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and professionalism.
- Develop team members through training, coaching, role-modeling, and skill stretch assignments.
Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years of construction management experience .
- Strong knowledge of residential building practices and codes.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and client management skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend).
- Conduct all business matters with the utmost in professionalism and integrity in every interaction with staff, clients, trade partners, and other stakeholders.
Preferred
- Minimum 2 year formal education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- OSHA certification.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
