AXIOS Industrial Solutions is hiring experienced Pipe Welders / Pipe Fitters to support high-spec fabrication work in an ASME code environment. This role is ideal for candidates who can both fit and weld pipe across a variety of materials while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pipe fit-up and welding in a fabrication/shop environment
- Weld using TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and/or Flux Core (FCAW)
- Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, 4130, copper-nickel, and other alloys
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and WPS/PQRs
- Ensure all work meets ASME code and project specifications
- Produce welds that pass visual inspection and NDT requirements
- Maintain proper alignment, tolerances, and quality during fit-up and assembly
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, Pipe Fitter, or Combo Welder/Fitter
- Ability to fit pipe independently and weld to code
- Experience with multiple alloys and industrial piping systems
- Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate layout/fit-up
- Must be able to pass a weld test (6G/6GR preferred)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset
