Job Description

As a Journeyman Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support commercial and industrial projects throughout Massachusetts. In this temp-to-hire role, you’ll earn $50/hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for overtime.

Position Details:

Hours: Morning shift, 40+ hours/week (overtime available)
Length of Assignment: Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

Key Responsibilities:

Install electrical systems, equipment, and associated materials in commercial/industrial settings
Accurately interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Troubleshoot control wires, motors, and panels
Install and terminate cables, motors, controls, and panels
Efficiently run EMT and rigid conduit
Demonstrate and maintain safe work practices on all job sites

Responsibilities

Minimum 21 years of age
Active Journeyman Electrician license required
OSHA-10 Certification (or willingness to obtain, depending on project)
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry materials as required for the job
Reliable transportation and tools preferred

The hourly rate for this position is $48-50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
