Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency to support manufacturing projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
- Measure dimensions precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction site practices.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize production workflows.
Skills
- Proven experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with rigging operations, pipe threading, soldering, machining processes, and assembly procedures.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.
- Experience working with sheet metal materials
- Understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices.
- Ability to read schematics accurately while applying safety standards during all operations. Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
