The Electrical QA/QC Technician role is an opportunity for experienced electrical professionals to expand beyond the tools and take on a technical quality role with real influence on project outcomes. In this position, you’ll work across all phases of construction—participating in project planning, inspecting electrical installations, assessing risk, and ensuring work meets contractual, regulatory, and OSHA safety standards. You’ll collaborate closely with construction teams, engineers, and subcontractors to identify issues early, drive corrective actions, and help ensure electrical systems are built right the first time. This role is ideal for detail-oriented electricians or field supervisors who want to elevate their careers, gain exposure to mission-critical data center infrastructure, and build a pathway into senior QA/QC, commissioning, or construction leadership roles.

- Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical project management/supervision and/or Quality Assurance Program management.
- Thorough understanding of construction technologies, equipment, processes, and methods.
- OSHA-30 certification required (or must be obtained within six months of hire).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new software tools and systems.
Other important requirements:
- Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
- Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
- Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.
- Participate in project planning and assist in determining appropriate installation techniques.
- Conduct regular walk-through inspections to ensure conformance with contractual specifications, government regulations, and Walker/OSHA safety requirements.
- Inspect manufactured products, on-site materials, equipment, and installation processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Document and communicate inspection results; identify non-compliant situations, recommend corrective actions, and follow through to ensure full resolution.
- Provide QA/QC feedback during each phase of the project to support continuous improvement.
- Assess product, compliance, and operational risks; assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Disseminate written policies and procedures related to QA/QC activities.
- Interpret specifications and clarify procedural issues for field personnel.
- Develop and implement improvements in communication, monitoring, and enforcement of compliance standards.
- Ensure timely maintenance and submittal of compliance reports as required by contract.
- Discuss violations and non-compliance issues with project management; explain regulations and recommend corrective actions or recertifications.
- Train, direct, and oversee subcontractor compliance as needed.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Compensation
- The expected hourly range for this role is $50.00 to $55.00 U SD.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications.
- Per Diem amount of $155.00 and project allowance, when applicable
- 15% night-shift premium for eligible roles, when applicable
- Overtime compensation for non-exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per week
- Relocation and Living-out-allowance (as applicable and based on successful candidate circumstances)
