Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and energetic Quality Control Inspector to inspect precision sheet metal parts to ensure they meet quality and blueprint requirements. This role reports to the Quality Manager.

Local candidates only. ITAR facility - US persons only.

Responsibilities

Visually and mechanically inspect fabricated sheet metal parts throughout the manufacturing process
Read and interpret blue prints, including tolerance requirements
Document inspection results accurately and on time
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, and protractors) and equipment to verify part dimensions
Work with manufacturing staff to identify and correct quality issues
Organize and maintain quality records and documentation
Escalate issues to management
Participate in continuous improvement
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Experience as a quality inspector or precision sheet metal experience in a job shop environment
Strong blueprint reading skills including GD&T
Experience using precision measuring and test equipment
Excellent attention to detail
ISO9001/AS9100 experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Math skills and analytical ability
Can work well with others in a diverse group and foster cooperative work environment
Capable of frequent standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
