Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified (NCCCO) Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in Plant City, Florida. This is a full-time, local position with no travel required. The ideal candidate will have experience operating mobile cranes in industrial, demolition, or construction environments and a strong commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with all company, OSHA, and site-specific regulations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Interpret load charts and ensure proper rigging and load stability
- Work closely with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors to complete lifts safely
- Assist with planning and executing complex lifts in demolition and environmental service settings
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and actively participate in safety meetings and training
Qualifications
- Current NCCCO Certification (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators)
- Proven experience operating mobile cranes in construction, demolition, or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and lift plans
- Strong understanding of rigging practices and signaling
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
