Pipefitters will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems including HVAC, hydronic, steam, and process piping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, copper)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and weld pipe to specifications
- Install valves, hangers, supports, and related equipment
- Work on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and process piping systems
- Perform pressure testing and system troubleshooting
- Follow OSHA safety standards and jobsite protocols
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Pipefitter (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Strong ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Experience with threading, grooving, welding, and pipe layout
- Knowledge of piping systems (steam, hydronic, chilled water, gas, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and ability to get to job sites
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE
Preferred (Not Required):
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience in hospitals, data centers, or large commercial projects
- Welding certifications (TIG/MIG/Stick)
- Experience with high-pressure systems or process piping
