HVAC Service Technician

The HVAC Service Technician is critical to our success in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service as it relates to new construction installation and/or replacement of both Residential and Commercial equipment.

EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma

· Three (3) years HVAC/R (Preferred)

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License

· Clean Driving Record

· Ability to pass Background Check

· EPA Certification

· Knowledge of Sheet Metal

· Knowledge of Electricity

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow daily schedule as appointed

· Keep direct supervisor informed throughout the day, regarding status of tasks and changes

· Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management, by demonstrating the ability to apply common sense and understanding to complete instructions provided in both written and oral form

· Ability to handle a heavy workload in a professional manner while diagnosing and troubleshooting new equipment

· Ability to work indoor and outdoor year round

· Schedule arrival and departure directly with customers

· Strong troubleshooting skills, to include the ability to read and understand troubleshooting guides or equipment manuals to identify issues in a short period of time

· Ability to read and comprehend blueprints

· Use proper tools, instruments and safety equipment while troubleshooting

· Consistently check system operations, safety and limit controls

· Incorporates solution techniques to assist other service technicians to resolve issues and customer problems

· Ability to lift 50-lbs without assistance

· Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork, to include timely completion of timecard, and submittal of expenditure receipts as required

· Maintain proper inventory and cleanliness in assigned vehicle

SCHEDULE:

· Monday – Friday

· 8-10 Hour Shifts

· Weekend Availability as needed
