3W Energy Services is hiring a Journeyman Electrician to handle crew-based electrical work across active production sites in West Texas. You'll run your own truck and crew, handling new construction, troubleshooting, and ongoing electrical support at CTBs, SWDs, wellpads, and gas lift facilities across the Permian Basin.
What You'll Do
- Run your own service truck and lead a small crew across active production sites in West Texas
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical systems on CTBs, SWDs, wellpads, and gas lift facilities
- Handle new construction work: panel builds, motor hookups, conduit runs, cable tray, lighting, and grounding
- Troubleshoot field electrical issues: VFD faults, motor problems, control wiring, power distribution, and transformer issues
- Wire and commission field devices alongside our automation team — pumps, actuators, instrumentation, and ESP equipment
- Perform site assessments and reliability work: load testing, thermal inspections, enclosure checks, and corrective maintenance
- Read and work from electrical drawings, single-lines, and panel schedules
- Manage crew safety, job planning, materials, and daily progress on site
- Document work clearly with photos and field notes so the office and automation team know what's been done
- Mentor apprentices and helpers on the crew, ensuring code-compliant installations
