Elevated Construction
Elevated Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager located in Dallas, Texas to oversee multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Elevated Construction’s quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, communicates clearly with clients and subcontractors, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position blends traditional Project Management responsibilities with Service Project Manager duties, requiring strong organization, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
As a key member of the production team, the Project Manager will serve as the primary point of coordination between clients, subcontractors, internal teams, and vendors; owning the execution and success of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Oversight
- Manage projects from award through final completion and closeout.
- Maintain full knowledge of project scope, schedules, subcontractor scopes, and client-specific requirements.
- Develop and maintain project construction schedules and proactively manage timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits (daily) for production oversight, material verification, and quality control.
- Ensure job sites meet Elevated Construction standards for safety, professionalism, and cleanliness.
- Supervise multiple active projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently to meet all project needs.
- Identify potential issues early and communicate proactively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Client Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication once projects are awarded.
- Establish and maintain project-specific email communication chains with clients, property teams, and construction contacts.
- Provide consistent project updates (at minimum weekly; more frequently for larger or more complex projects).
- Attend and lead preconstruction meetings (both internal and external) as needed to ensure projects are set up for success.
Estimating & Preconstruction Support
- Assist the team with site visits, scope development, and bid preparation as needed.
- Gather field data, subcontractor input, and pricing details for service and small-project estimates.
- Prepare detailed estimate scopes using company-approved systems and processes.
- Support the estimating team by reviewing scopes for clarity, completeness, and constructability.
Subcontractor Management
- Coordinate subcontractors throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
- Ensure subcontractor work aligns with agreed-upon scopes before approving or requesting payment.
- Assist with sourcing, onboarding, and building relationships with new subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships to support long-term operational growth.
Production Coordination
- Collaborate with production teams to monitor project progress and address issues early.
- Attend preconstruction meetings and support smooth project handoffs.
- Conduct weekly project reviews and spot checks using project management tools.
- Maintain client communication standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Administrative & Technical Support
- Create customer invoices upon project or service completion and submit closeout documentation, including photos, through Procore.
- Submit and track subcontractor pay requests, ensuring alignment with approved scopes, addendums, and payment schedules.
- Support accounts receivable efforts by assisting with client follow-up when standard payment timelines are exceeded.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily logs, and updates within company software systems.
- Follow established company processes for billing, reporting, and documentation, including timely submission of required reports.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist with training or mentoring team members as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Professional Background
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in multifamily construction.
- Service project management experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with construction project management software (Procore preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of estimating and scheduling tools.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
