Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our growing testing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, traveling to different fire departments, and being part of a mission-driven company that supports first responders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with fire department ladder, hose, and pump testing per NFPA standards
Set up, operate, and break down testing equipment at client locations
Perform physical tasks such as moving ladders, handling hoses, and basic equipment maintenance
Record data accurately and follow quality control procedures
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient testing operations
Represent Top Rung professionally with fire department staff and leadership

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in outdoor environments
Comfortable with travel throughout the Northeast (day trips, some overnights)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures
Mechanical aptitude or prior experience with tools/equipment a plus
Prior fire service, construction, or general labor experience preferred but not required

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time, seasonal (March – November) with potential for year-round work
Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
Travel lodging provided when overnight travel is required
