We are currently looking for Lead Service Technicians and Lead Installers with 3-5+ years of HVAC experience who can work independently and take ownership of their work.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot various commercial and residential HVAC systems, sometimes in confined or elevated spaces
- Complete paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on HVAC systems
- Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC equipment
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job leadership when needed
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and OSHA standards
- Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
- Provide world-class customer service on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Arrive on time to all jobs ready to work with a positive attitude
- Attend company meetings and training as necessary
- Adhere to all company safety and handbook policies
Work Hours: 40+ hours per week with opportunity for overtime
Pay: $30-$45+ per hour depending on experience, licensing, and skill level
Qualifications:
- Journeyman HVAC License (PJ2 and/or RJ2) preferred
- EPA Universal Certification required
- 3-5+ years of residential and/or commercial HVAC experience
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skillset
- Ability to work independently and complete jobs efficiently
- Experience leading installations and/or service calls preferred
- Skilled with technology such as iPads and mobile apps
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work on-call nights and weekend hours (Service Technicians only)
- On-call cutoff is 9PM, including weekends (we are not a 24/7 company)
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a background check
- RI Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, and/or Pipefitting License preferred
- OSHA Certification preferred
- Ability to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in confined spaces, lift over 40 pounds, and climb ladders
