We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with NICET certifications to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, code compliance, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a solid background in fire alarm systems. Experience with Burglar Alarm and CCTV systems is a plus. A strong working knowledge of computers and general maintenance is also desired.
This role is critical in ensuring the safety of our clients and the reliable operation of our facilities, with primary focus on the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of Fire Alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service technician (existing systems) and new install technician (proficient in Burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems).
- Support the installation and troubleshooting of burglar alarms & CCTV systems.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities using computer-based systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Uphold Brinton Fire & Security’s standards for cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to assist with low voltage and security system maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Exceptional work history references demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with burglar alarm security systems.
- Experience with CCTV video systems
- Experience with door access control is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with fire alarm systems is a MUST!
Work Environment: This position involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work. The Technician must be comfortable working in various environments and conditions, including tight spaces and at heights when necessary.
Location: Work location is mainly in the Branson, MO area. Home office located in Shell Knob, MO (10 minutes North of Berryville near Carr Lane)
