Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder / Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems and metal structures across various construction and manufacturing projects. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and soldering to join metal components according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems and metal structures
- Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, calipers, and tube benders
- Install HVAC piping, plumbing lines, and pipeline components in compliance with ASME codes & standards
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities
- Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during installation or fabrication processes
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with schematics, schematics reading tools, and various construction or manufacturing equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder or pipefitter in construction sites or manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to piping and welding practices
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in pipe threading, tube bending, rigging, and installation techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during fabrication and installation processes
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to safety regulations
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing standards, pipeline assembly, maintenance procedures, and schematics is highly desirable

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
