- Service existing accounts by meeting with customers, performing extensive diagnostic testing of equipment and resolving problems.
- Document service and test results by completing forms and reports on company supplied Ipad or phone in Service Titian.
- Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Communicate with service manager and other company managers as it relates to customer service and additional opportunities.
- Develop parts and material requests for office to assist in locating and delivery.
- Provide professional communications to customers, managers and all associates.
- Document service and inspection results by completing forms and reports on company supplied ipad.
- Able to follow instructions, work independently and part of the team.
- Work is both inside and outside all year round. Working currently in cold weather temperatures.
- Physical work can be standing, bending, use of ladders, stairs and often lifting heavier objects. Can involve tighter spaces for some installations.
Skills
- Read and understand equipment wiring diagrams and be able to use appropriate meters.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of basic refrigeration and heating system components and there application.
- Work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Strive to be the best possible technician you can be by continuously advancing your knowledge.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Work in various conditions from boiler rooms to rooftops, both summer and winter.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Team player with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate a clean and presentable workspace to include company vehicles.
- Capable of assembling components efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems quickly.
- Service Titan knowledge a plus.
- Required Experience: 5+ years of HVAC service.
- A good driving history with a valid driver’s license.
