The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and installation requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors during installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on job sites.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including welding tools when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields such as property maintenance or mechanical work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems effectively.
- Familiarity with refrigeration processes and techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC installations.
- Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
