Haiges Machinery is hiring an experienced Mobile Service Technician in the Chicagoland area. If you’re an HVAC tech (or have strong electro-mechanical skills), this is your opportunity to use your expertise in a more exciting, high-impact way.

We service commercial and industrial laundry equipment in high-demand facilities across northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin and down into Indiana. These operations can’t afford downtime — your skills help keep clean linens flowing for our healthcare providers, dry-cleaners and hospitality businesses.

What You’ll Do:

Travel in a fully stocked take-home service van
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems on high-volume laundry equipment
Troubleshoot motors, pumps, valves, wiring, sensors, pressure & flow issues (skills that transfer perfectly from HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical work)

Who We’re Looking For:

Strong HVAC or electro-mechanical background (refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs — this is non-negotiable)
Experience (or fast learner) with commercial equipment
Confident problem-solver who thrives working independently
Excellent customer service skills and professional presence
Reliable, detail-oriented, with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
