Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts efficiently.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects to ensure seamless operation across all building services.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Support emergency repairs in the field by providing quick response service to minimize downtime for clients.
Requirements
- Experience is a bonus but not requirement
- Good strong work ethic , able to work in heat

- Recommended to be mechanically inclined , I will provide training but there is a learning curve
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), including refrigeration systems like ammonia refrigeration.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans with precision.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment repair, boiler operation, plumbing systems, welding techniques, and appliance repair.
- Hands-on experience with field service operations involving air conditioning units and complex mechanical systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and safety procedures for equipment repair.
