Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including but not limited to restoration, drywall installation, and construction painting. This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to fabricate and install various structures, such as siding and roofing. The Journeyperson Carpenter will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, siding, roofing, and construction painting.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
Fabricate wooden structures and components according to design plans.
Conduct repairs and restoration work on existing structures as needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project completion.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
Provide maintenance person services as required for various projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter in the restoration industry or similar field.
Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction documents.
Experience with fabrication techniques for wood structures.
Familiarity with siding installation processes and materials.
Skills in construction painting techniques preferred.
Ability to operate CNC machinery is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
