HVAC Service Manager Full Time $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Pipeworks Plumbing Heating & Air is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Manager to help lead our service department. This position is ideal for an HVAC professional with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a desire to help technicians succeed while ensuring exceptional service for our customers.

Responsibilities

o Assist in coordinating and dispatching service technicians to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction

o Provide technical support and guidance to field staff

o Conduct technician training, coaching, and performance evaluations

o Ensure quality control on service calls and completed work o Monitor department productivity, revenue, and profitability goals

o Assist with diagnosing complex HVAC issues when needed

o Handle customer concerns and ensure a positive customer experience

o Maintain inventory and coordinate equipment and material needs

o Promote company safety standards and industry best practices

o Collaborate with office staff to improve workflow and communication

o Help develop and implement processes to improve service department performance

o Support the achievement of company sales and service goals

Qualifications

o Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience preferred

o Previous management, supervisory, or lead technician experience preferred

o Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems

o Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment

o Excellent communication and customer service skills

o Strong organizational and leadership abilities

o Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

o EPA Certification preferred
