Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Illinois-based Traveling Finish Carpenter to work across our various jobsites nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed per print, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive travel to different job sites and collaboration with various subcontractors and team members. Most of these projects run overnight and weekends.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Provide a sharp eye for detail.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics to ensure project specifications are met.
Provide leadership and direction to on-site teams, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process.

Experience

Proven experience in all aspects of carpentry with a strong understanding of project scheduling.
Experience in framing, drywall, millwork installation, finish work, door installation, window installation, locksets, hardware, closers, ACT ceilings and FRP installation required.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining a focus on project goals.
